We help Earth benefit from Space
SSC Space is a leading global provider of advanced space services in space to Earth connectivity, mission operations, system engineering, and science and launch services.
We enable successful space projects in Earth observation, telecommunications, security, meteorology, navigation and positioning, scientific research, and many other applications.
A proud history dating back to 1966
Our history started in 1966 with pioneering scientific rocket launches from Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden. Since then, we have become a leader in the global space industry. Today, we have a local presence on all continents and about 750 committed employees.
Among our strongest assets are Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden, set out to be a leading provider of satellite launch services from mainland Europe, as well as one of the world’s largest commercial ground station networks for satellite communications.

“Space has never been more important for our daily lives. Our industry continues to grow rapidly, and SSC Space strives to be a leading force in it.”
