Capabilities for Telemetry Tracking & Command (TT&C) and Data Downlink services

Antenna and Baseband

SSC owns and operates a 7.3-meter antenna system with capabilities for Telemetry Tracking & Command (TT&C) and Data Downlink services. The baseband equipment supports CCSDS standards and is consistent with the other SSC global ground station network sites. The Siracha Satellite Station supports S-Band (uplink and downlink) and X-Band (downlink). The antenna feed is tri-band capable, with the possibility to add Ka-Band services in the future.

Location
Our station is located in Siracha, Thailand, approximately 100 km kilometers south of Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport. The SSC antenna system is hosted by GISTDA and co-located on their ground station. This provides opportunities to offer redundancy on the GISTDA antennas when required.
