Large aperture antennas for lunar missions
SSC Space can provide up and downlink services compliant with the NASA LEGS performance specification in both X and Ka-band from a 16m antenna and in both S and X-band from a 32m antenna.
In conjunction with the other SSC Space lunar ground stations we can provide a global network for continuous 24/7 support for Lunar missions.
Location
The Irbene Ground station, own by Viratec, is a highly integrated partner station located close to the town of Ventspils on the Baltic coast of Latvia, approximately 180 km from Riga International airport.
