In January SSC welcomed seven new employees to our technical trainee program, Space Career program.
The program is an initiative to attract new talents to SSC and will be run for one year. It consists of a mixture of classroom training, hands-on training/labs, studies and on-the-job training. The amount of on-the-job training will increase over time and will form most of the training at the later stages of the program.
At the end of the program, the trainees will have very good technical knowledge of our systems and how we operate and will have the base to further develop their skills and knowledge to take on the role of technical leads.
