IGE Day – from informing to inspiring

Building the egg experiment payload.

We had the pleasure of hosting 20 students at our office in Solna on Friday, 22 March, giving them a glimpse into the world of aerospace engineering.

 

The students learned about life as an engineer in the space industry and took a tour of the lab, where we prepare payloads for the rocket launches from Esrange Space Center.

The day was wrapped up with a challenge; building a payload to protect an egg dropped through the window from our office floor. All the eggs survived!

We are proud to be part of IGE Day (Introduce a girl to engineering) with the Womenengineer Foundation, where teamwork takes flight and future engineers are born.
