Future space engineers in action

This weekend the Swedish qualification for ESA’s CanSat competition took place at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm. Seven impressive teams from all over Sweden competed and three teams were chosen to compete in Kiruna this spring. The one winning team will compete in ESA’s international competition later this summer.

In teams of 3-6, seven impressive teams from all over Sweden competed with their own designed simulations of satellites and programmed two missions. A hard decision for the jury, partly represented by SSC’s Stefan Krämer.

In the end, three teams were chosen to compete in Kiruna this spring, from which one winning team will continue to compete in ESA’s international competition later this summer.

The event was amazingly arranged by the Swedish Astronomical Youth Association within the ESERO Sweden initiative – supported by SSC.
