Esrange opened the gates to the public

On Saturday (5 Oct) we opened the gate to Esrange Space Center. 200 people came for the guided tours to our Visitor Center, balloon- and rocket launch areas. Rymdgymnasiet’s students welcomed the guests dressed as astronauts.

The Buses started from Rymdhuset “The Space house” in Kiruna where the registration of the visitors took place. Experts from Space Kiruna – IRF, EISCAT, LTU and Rymdgymnasiet (Kiruna Space High School) – were there to inform about the space activities in the area.
