The Skylark Tower at Esrange Space Center, which was severly damaged by the fire in August 2021, has been rebuilt. The inauguration took place on 19 December. The first launch from this facility, suborbital rocket MAIUS-2, was performed on 2 December.
“We are very proud to be able to take the much-improved launcher in use that ensures us many more years of launches from the Skylark Tower”, says Lena Gälldin, project manager.
The same day we inaugurated a new MPF (Multi Purpose Facility) building.
