Do you want to be part of creating history in Swedish Space Industry? In 2024, we plan to enable launch of satellites from Esrange outside of Kiruna in the North of Sweden. Now there is a unique opportunity for you to join the establishment and operation of the orbital launch capability as well as partake in our testbed activities.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
As a Launch Engineer, you will be part of our team that designs, implements and operates current or future facilities and systems for orbital launches. During the establishment phase, you will be part of our Spaceport project team working with the goal to enable us as a spaceport and test center. During the operational phase you will be working directly with enabling launches from the spaceport.
Expect to work with the planning for specific operations at the spaceport in close cooperation with our customers, to turn the information into structured documents and coordinate input from various sources. The role has a certain level of flexibility depending on aptitude, interest and current need in the organization.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a service minded person, thorough and work well with people. You are structured, methodical and quality conscious. You can manage irregular hours, long shifts and travel to the test sites during campaigns.
We also believe you have:
- a good proficiency in English
- a university degree in a technical field
We would consider it a bonus should you also have:
- a good proficiency in Swedish
- prior professional experience in the space sector

LOCATION
We offer a permanent position. Daytime 40h/week. As part of Orbital Launch & Rocket Test Department you may take part in launching and test campaigns which are scheduled outside normal working hours. The position is stationed at Esrange Space Center. We require that you are an EU citizen.
