LSE Space GmbH is looking for a Master Graduate or Junior Engineer to join our Spacecraft Operations Teams in Oberpfaffenhofen. The service is performed on shift (24/7 support).
In line with security requirements, the candidate has to hold an EU citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Participation in training and simulation campaigns to achieve certification
- Preparation and validation of flight operations procedures and products
- Participation in the testing and validation of the flight operations segment
- Monitoring and controlling of the operations progress for multiple satellite missions, in accordance with the scheduled operations timeline.
- Performing specific operations, as defined in the operations plan and in accordance with the established procedures.
- Upon detection of an anomaly, taking corrective action as necessary, according to the approved contingency procedures, and informing/assisting the responsible expert for further investigation
- Producing and evaluating graphs and plots for off-line analysis
- Supporting the satellite operations engineers in their operations preparation and execution tasks
- Authoring of operations reports summarizing all shift activities and events
Your profile
- Master's Degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Telecommunications Engineering or related field
- Experience with using computer systems is required, and experience in data communication and/or ground station systems is an advantage
- Strong interest and existing skills in programming and IT systems
- Strong team player
- Discipline and punctuality
- The applicant should be able to demonstrate an orderly, reliable and disciplined approach to the execution of operations and be capable of working calmly and correctly under stress
- Commitment and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift
- Fluency in English
