Mission Analysis,
System Engineering and Performance Engineering

Activities start with space mission analysis and design, including mission trade-offs, concurrent engineering, life cycle assessments, and compliance with ESA and ECSS standards, supported by advanced end-to-end performance simulators and Model-Based Systems Engineering approaches to ensure robust requirements management, traceability, and verification. Strong capabilities are provided in space instruments and technology development, spanning scientific instrument design, system and performance modelling, interface management, critical technology development, and support to future science and earth observation missions. Mission system and performance engineering ensures technical coherency through system architecture definition, requirements and budget management, end-to-end performance simulation, and the development and validation of Level-1 and Level-2 processors from early phases through launch, commissioning, and in-orbit operations.

Payload, Avionics, RF, and Space Software Expertise

The portfolio further includes deep expertise in payload and instrument electronics, RF payloads, microwave and SAR systems, secure communications, TT&C and payload data transmission, radio navigation, avionics, on-board data handling, and space software engineering, covering both hardware and software development, validation, qualification, and operations support.
