We're becoming SSC Space

As we continue our journey towards the future, we are evolving our brand to fully reflect our global presence and business focus. Effective from early 2026, we are changing our company name from Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) to SSC Space.

As part of this transition, our subsidiaries LSE Space and Aurora Technology will adopt SSC Space, bringing the entire organization together under one global brand.

New name. Same mission.

We operate on a truly international stage, supporting missions and customers across the globe. To unify our identity, strengthen our market presence, and foster a shared culture of pride and engagement, we are evolving our brand to SSC Space.

Operating internationally, the company has premises across all continents: Sweden, Australia, Canada, Chile, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, and the United States. Already today, SSC Space serves as the legal entity name in several key markets.

When will the change be applicable?

The new corporate brand will officially take effect at the beginning of 2026.

We are evolving our brand to reflect who we are today: A global space company. The new name “SSC Space” unifies our identity, strengthens our global presence, and reflects our forward-looking mission.

Together, SSC Space honors our roots while projecting a modern and international brand

The circular spheres symbolize astronomical bodies that together form a human figure reaching toward/connecting with space, illustrating how we and our customers realize our goals and ambitions together.

The new brand name is SSC Space—and SSC is no longer an abbreviation, but part of our name—honoring our origin while moving forward under a clear, strong, and international brand.

No, we remain headquartered in Sweden, with Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden as a cornerstone of our operations. Our Swedish foundation continues to be a source of pride. The new name emphasizes that our impact goes far beyond Sweden, to customers and partners across the globe.

As part of this rebranding, LSE Space and Aurora Technology will also adopt the SSC Space name.

There will be no change to our services, contracts, or commitments. The only difference is our name and branding.

All employees will have firstname.lastname@sscspace.com as email address. This means that the @lsespace.com and @aurora.nl addresses will disappear. Emails sent to employees with these addresses will be forwarded to the @sscspace.com address.

Our corporate website is already www.sscspace.com. However, the LSE Space and Aurora technology websites will be closed, and visitors will be automatically rerouted to our corporate website.
Social media accounts will adapt the new symbol or logo. All social media accounts will share the SSC Space name and LSE Space and Aurora technology LinkedIn accounts will be merged with the corporate account.
