We have been and continue to be a leading provider of sounding rocket and stratospheric balloon launches from our Esrange Space Center in Northern Sweden for over 50 years and we need your help to shape our future.
Requirements
YOUR ROLEAs part of the team you will develop customer relationships and business within our various capabilities for enabling science and research in space through sounding rockets, stratospheric balloons, student programs, and development of advanced scientific/technology demonstration payloads for near-Earth applications as well as future applications farther away like the Moon and Mars.
The role involves expanding our existing business, including SubOrbital Express, as well as identifying and cultivating new potential customers with experiment payloads. You will report to the head of Business Development and participate in the entire sales process, active in both long-term and short-term planning and customer relationship development. This involves everything from developing service offerings, coordinating technical solutions, sales pursuits including visiting customers world-wide and representing SSC at conferences, as well as the process of proposal work to negotiating and closing contracts, and sales pipeline management with status reporting.

- a university degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, a bonus is business experience

 - proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
 - interest in and passion for space and/or science.
 
Since you will work with both customers and colleagues globally, you are fluent in written and spoken English. Swedish language skills are preferred.
