As part of the science & launch services business area you will develop relationships and business within our legacy capabilities including sounding rockets, stratospheric balloons, payload development, rocket testing, and student programs. SSC recently inaugurated Spaceport Esrange in northern Sweden as mainland Europe’s first orbital launch site and we need your help to find our new launch vehicle and satellite customers!

 

Your responsibilities

The role involves helping our team to grow our existing business as well as identifying and cultivating new potential customers and partners. You participate in the entire sales process and are active in both long-term and short-term planning and customer relations development. This involves everything from coordinating technical solutions, proposal work, and sales planning, to negotiating and closing business agreements, as well as reporting on and managing customer follow-ups. It can also involve support and groundwork to prepare for meetings, conferences, and events. There will be frequent participation in conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings worldwide.

Since you will work with both costumers and colleagues globally, you are fluent in written and spoken English. Swedish language skills are preferred. Additional language skills are also of interest.
