Do you want to be part of creating history in Swedish Space Industry? In 2023, we plan to enable launch of satellites from Esrange outside of Kiruna in the North of Sweden. Now there is a unique opportunity for you to join the establishment and operation of the orbital launch capability as well as partake in our testbed activities.



As a project manager, your main task is running projects of various sorts within the department of Orbital Launch & Rocket Test. The projects are mostly customer related leading to a delivery of services together with your assigned team. You will also assist our business department in different stages of new opportunities as well as act a systems engineer should a need arise.



You are an experienced engineer as well as a proven leader, preferable with a history in space industry. You can and appreciate the role of communicating goals as well as inspire those around you. You are also a service minded person, thorough and work well with people. You can manage occasional long shifts and apt in both individual tasks as well as team efforts. You are proficient in your field and used to learn and adapt in order to create solutions.

We also believe you have:

  • prior experience in both project management as well as systems engineering
  • knowledge in project management philosophy following the PPS model or PMI/ISO standards
  • a good proficiency in English
  • a B-type driving licence

We would consider it a bonus should you also have:

  • a good proficiency in Swedish
  • experience in the space sector

We offer a permanent position after 6-months trial period. Daytime 40h/week. As part of Orbital Launch & Rocket Test Department you will take part in launching and test campaigns which are scheduled outside normal working hours. The position is stationed at Esrange Space Center. We require that you are an EU citizen and have a Swedish work permit.

This position requires a background control and security interview before employment.
