Service Desk / On-site technician

The Role

You will have a key role for the service delivery within ICT. You will work with ticket handling and troubleshooting as well as development of the services provided. The role acts as a SPOC for IT issues and includes on-site support and workplace services. The work is to be performed as a team effort including other units within SSC IT.


The Tasks

In the role, you will

  • Handle first-line as well as second line ICT support to SSC users worldwide.
  • Maintain, support, document and develop the services provided. Including operational uptime and service windows.
  • Handle necessary vendor/contractor contacts.
  • Arrange and conduct introduction of new users to IT systems and routines/policies.
  • Manage IT standard equipment, and IT purchases
  • Participate and/or lead internal IT projects.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and development of our ICT environment
  • Actively contribute to the cybersecurity work such as access rights management and certificate solutions

The position requires a service mindset and a great deal of multitasking. You need a high level of technical competence within O365 as well as knowledge regarding laptops, phones and other ICT hardware. We see that you previously have worked with:

  • IT support in Microsoft environments
  • Windows 10
  • Telephony
  • Intune (or other Mobile Device Management tools)
  • SCCM
  • Office 365
  • Azure AD
  • Microsoft security solutions incl. Microsoft Information Protection


We value previous knowledge within Microsoft 365 and cloud services. It is also beneficial if you have worked with ITIL and cybersecurity frameworks.
