BEXUS 21 launched from Esrange Space Center RSS

The student balloon BEXUS 21 was launched yesterday from Esrange Space Center at 09:31 UTC (11:31 LT).

The student balloon BEXUS 21 was launched on October 7, at 09:31 UTC (11:31 LT) from Esrange Space Center.

The cut-down was made at 12:36 UTC (14:36 LT) after 1 h 36 min of float and it landed approx. 60 km east of Gällivare, Sweden.

All the experiments worked nominal and the teams are very happy with the data they received during flight.

The REXUS/BEXUS programme is realised under a bilateral Agency Agreement between the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Swedish National Space Board (SNSB). The Swedish share of the payload has been made available to students from other European countries through a collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).
