BEXUS 20 launched from Esrange Space Center RSS

The second student balloon, BEXUS 20, was launched on Saturday, October 10, from Esrange Space Center at 09:17 UTC.

​BEXUS 20 was launched from Esrange Space Center on 10 October at 09:17 UTC.

Cut-down was made at 13:06 UTC after more than 2 h of floating time and it landed in Finland, approx 25 km east of the Swedish border.

Recovery was made on Sunday 11 October and the gondola is back at Esrange.

All the BEXUS 20 teams are very happy with the performance of their experiments and the data they collected during flight.

The REXUS/BEXUS programme is realised under a bilateral Agency Agreement between the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Swedish National Space Board (SNSB). The Swedish share of the payload has been made available to students from other European countries through a collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).
