25 Nov 2013

Swarm satellites started their Earth observation mission.

After successful launch on 22 Nov. ESOC formally declared LEOP completion on 24 Nov.

LSE Space and Aurora Technology are providing support to ESTEC (NL) during the whole commissioning phase. ESOC-based LSE Space engineers, members of the Flight Control team, will extend their support from commissioning to routine operations, thus covering the entire mission's life.
In parallel, the maintenance EKS-Team operating the Kiruna ESA-ESTRACK space station will also continue its support, being Kiruna the prime station for the routine phase of Swarm.
