BEXUS 15 successfully launched RSS

BEXUS 15 was successfully launched from Esrange Space Center on September 25 at 10.18 UTC.

BEXUS 15BEXUS 15 reached an altitude of 25,4 km when the cut-down command was given after a flight of 6 h and 10 minutes. The payload landed in Finland 20 minutes after cut-down.

BEXUS 15 had four student experiments onboard:

AMES:  (Atmospheric Magnetic and Electric field Sensor) - Lycée Gustave Eiffel of Cachan, France

BioDos:  (Continuous measurement of the change of UV radiation in dependence of altitude - Testing new method of measuring effects of UV radiation on biological systems) - Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary

MISSUS: (Meteorological Integrated Sensor Suite for Stratospgeric analysis) - University of Padova, Italy

SolSpecTre: (Measurement of Solar Spectrum) - Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany
