SSC is a comprehensive space company covering many fields, from the development of rocket systems to launch and operations of rockets, balloons and satellites.
SSC develops systems for sounding rockets and experiment equipment for research in microgravity. From our facility Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden, we launch sounding rockets and high-altitude balloons for research in the areas of microgravity, astrophysics, astronomy and atmospheric studies.
Esrange is also one of the world's busiest civilian satellite ground stations, communicating with both telecom and scientific satellites. SSC's facility Stockholm Teleport provides satellite communication services.
We also provide test services to the Swedish National Defence Material Administration (FMV) at their test range Vidsel.
SSC also designs, develops and installs maritime surveillance systems which are used by coast guard authorities around the world.
SSC is the parent company of the SSC Group.
